How it works

 Here are the nuts and bolts of The Lighthouse School. 

We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-12:30. Classes are taught by parents of children in the co-op. 

Courses covered this year, Science, History, Life Skills and P.E.

Classes are currently being taught in various homes of co-op members in Spanish Fork, Utah. 

Current grades taught are preschool- 5th grade. Other grades can be considered if there is enough interest.

A small registration fee and monthly fee of $15 dollars per child.

Welcome to The Lighthouse School!

This is a school of natural learning, where our mission is to untether from the traditional educational system. Our hope is to help children recognize their unique gifts by discovering the use of their intuition when faced with decisions and challenges relating to their education. We know each child has their own leaning style, therefor, our way of teaching at The Lighthouse is flexible and open to the many ways children comprehend and process information. The Lighthouse aims to nourish the light inside each child, where they feel guided towards a sense of self-worth, purpose, and belonging so they can make a difference in the world.
